First Nationally Televised Laser Root Canal Procedure to

On November 10, 2008, the nationally syndicated TV show “The Doctors” videotaped a Waterlase Dentistry root canal treatment performed live at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Dr. Darrell Chun, a Waterlase Dentist from Elk Grove, California performed the entire root canal procedure WITHOUT ANY ANESTHETIC on a highly dental-phobic patient who had previously experienced a very painful root canal. If the reaction of the live studio audience at the taping is any indication, the 1.2 million viewers who typically see the show will be just as excited to learn about this important advance in dental care.

Described in the show as “the first nationally televised laser root canal procedure” the Waterlase root canal treatment will be broadcast throughout North America on Thursday, January 8, 2009.
